  • Philanthropic Fundraising
    • LifeWorks NW, Major Gifts, Development & Marketing Dept., 2008 - present
    • Adventist Medical Center, Philanthropy Services Dept., 2006 - 2007
      • Annual Golf Benefit at The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club, Aloha, Oregon
        • Significant Results:secured $187,000 in total revenues; budget of $70,000 resulted in $117,000 in net proceeds. Event attracted 252 golfers, used two courses with a double-shotgun start on all but Par 3s.
        • Worked with Nike Golf to establish one of 12 "Nike Golf Mobile Pro Shop" concepts in the Northwest as a model for charity golf events. Program is currently being rolled out nationally.
        • Developed marketing materials to support gift solicitation. Worked with volunteers and managers to identify sponsor prospects. Secured donor gift renewals and new gifts.
        • Planned and promoted pre-event Sponsor Appreciation & Acquisition Luncheon.
      • Annual Employee Giving Campaign
        • Significant Results: planned, promoted and implemented strategies for the "silent phase" of the two-year employee giving cycle, resulting in some $500 more in net proceeds than previously with significantly less time and effort.
        • Created, planned and implemented a direct mail campaign targeting three employee groups; developed messaging and campaign materials.
        • Complemented direct mail campaign with a series of email messages, employee bulletin board posters, employee intranet portal messaging.
      • Angels & Bows Hospice Fundraising Event
        • Significant Results: planned, promoted and implemented direct mail strategy for annual event, including identifying and calling on new prospects; resulting in gross revenues of $26,780, and meeting net proceeds goal target.
    • Utilized Black Baud's The Raiser's Edge database for donor record keeping.
